What are occupier services?
Most businesses have either too much or too little real estate - or real estate poorly suited to their business needs. Occupier services are there to provide our clients with advice which will help them fulfil their real estate requirements.
What makes our occupier services unique?
Our occupier services team helps clients in the definition of their goals and needs and then accompanies them throughout the process of searching for new offices or new sub-tenants, and in the acquisition or disposal of their surplus properties.
What service can tenants or owner occupiers expect from us?
Our core service is searching for new space and the negotiation of lease terms. However, we can start much earlier in the process with space audits, or contribute later with due diligence and fitting out. In summary, we can:
- define your needs;
- consider relocation options;
- find new accommodation;
- negotiate the lease agreement to your advantage in the advent of a new lease or lease renewal;
- negotiate a surrender of the lease or find replacement tenants;
- coordinate the external skills required for a move.
We also have all the required skills to manage the disposal of land and buildings at the end of their useful life. This is particularly relevant to the disposal of surplus land which requires planning and development skills as well as agency expertise.
